Sarah Palin makes my brain hurt.

Saturday, July 4, 2009
I just watched Sarah Palin's resignation speech in its entirety I really don't suggest you do the same because I feel dumber as a result of it. She talked for so long but said absolutely nothing at all. Between her stumbling and stuttering, the Barbie-esque giggles and the constant cooing of that down syndrome ass baby of hers I gathered that she no longer wants to be governor Alaska.

In the spirit of full disclosure I'll be honest and admit a slight bias: I hate this hoe with a passion. Never liked her...ever. I think he's a opportunistic player who will do anything to get to the top. That's disgusting IMHO.

With that said I'ma step back and open this up to you all. Can anyone actually make sense of this unforced resignation thing? Is she positioning herself for 2012? Some other lucrative venture?

And while I'm asking questions...wtf were these basketball analogies? Point guards and full court press and shit. I felt like she was about to draw up a defense. Though I doubt it's happen I'd prefer her disappear into the night.

"Life is too short to compromise time and resources. And though it may be tempting and more comfortable to just kinda keep your head down and plot along and appease those who are demanding, “Hey, [pause] just sit down and shut up [slightly elongated pause],” but that’s a worthless, easy path out. That’s the quitters way out." (c) Sarah Palin

Does anyone out there know wtf this walking contradiction masquerading as a woman is talking about? Because I most certainly don't. I think I heard her say that quitting is the quitters way out just before she proceeds to , you know, quit.

**insert annoyed, perplexed face here**

I've heard that she's about to hit the lecture circuit up hard and write a couple of books. With all the money she'll make doing that, she'll be able to finance her 2012 run. This whole thing makes me wonder 'what if she would've become VP?'

A friend posed an interesting point in relation to the Palin drama. Plenty of governors have decided not to sit through the entirety of their term if they aren't seeking reelection.
But because the media knows she will cry wolf, they have done exactly what she wanted and, once again, thrust her into the spotlight.

And, ever since the moment McCain introduced her to the national stage last year, we've been waiting for some type of debacle so we could point out the slightest indication of how unqualified she was to be second in command. I am guilty too.

It's no fun if you don't say anything.
