Note: What's the over/under on the number of readers who will actually 'get' this picture? 2, maybe 3.
Have you ever been at work and felt the urge to slap the shit out of a co-worker? Like, REALLY go off. I'm not talking a simple, "Hey guy, you're upsetting me right now and I'd prefer that you stop." I'm talking jumping across the board room table and really going to town. I mean...just Sprewell a bitch in front of everyone to make his/her ass an example.
That's where I am right now. I'm dealing with this fool who feels the need to disagree just for dissension's sake. He thinks he and his ideas are superior to everyone and everything. Bar none. I'm usually not one to let others under my skin, but this fool has been working at it for some time now.
No worries though. I'm cool and calm...now. It wasn't looking good for him an hour ago. I took a short walk in the cold, now I'm sipping my green tea with lemon. I'm pretty cool. I'm not losing my job or jeopardizing my career for this dude.
Have you ever just really wanted to pop off on a co-worker? Is there someone you work with who really just tends to get under your skin? How do/did you handle the circumstance?
Please, let me know.

You already know my situation with these types of coworkers. I actually had to work with her today, I just happen to be good at ignoring people. Ignoring people generally works for me, they get the hint pretty quick. Besides "sprewelling" your coworker wont stop him from being annoying. BTW thanks for the advice I am definitely gonna report the situation I just didn't want to do it while I was angry.
Not only that...I have a gun and sometimes you just wanna go, "bang-bang". I'm just saying. Thank God for the power of restraint.
For some reason I tend to run into dudes just like that. {People like that want to always downplay someone else ideas and thoughts. ANd on the flip side they do not realize how stupid they make their self look and sound. I tend to ignore them and let their Mouth F#$%% them selves up. Sooner or later his mouth is going to write a check his azz cant CASH! So continue to chill and drink your green tea in peace.
I used to have the classic Puerto Rican temper...you fuck with me, you got it...right then and there. Through the years, I've polished this diamond and now, I let it all roll off me. I say what I have to say, direct and firm, but I put shit in the right context. "How important is this bitch?" in the big picture of my life I ask myself... that's when I realize that none of those fools at work deserves to get my goat. Now, like I said, I do lay it down direct though...that seems to shock them into submission. Don't hold on to shit though...it's never worth it. None of those mutha fuckas are worth an ulcer.
Yeah, I've wanted to sprewell a few of my co-workers. I typically let them set themselves up and go for the kill. I've learned those people usually doing things that appear neutral, but they are secretly messing with you. Thus, you can't react to them, because you will look crazy. I just wait then I completely murder them in front of people.
Infamous - Choking a bitch may not make them less annoying, but it'll sure scratch that damn itch I'd been having. I'd feel better afterwards.
One Man's - Wait...no guns. I don't support violent violence.
Cocoa - I had to have been Puerto Rican in my past life b/c I get into nearly everything you write. My personal favorite one-liner from this comment is: "How important is this bitch?" I could so see my little good shoulder angel saying that.
Life - I see you're going for the jugular. I can dig it.
Ken - I'm so sorry, I skipped right over you. Not only is his mouth gonna write a check it can't cash, but THIS check just might break the bank.
In the corporate world we just get even. These moments are bound to happen, but getting upset is not the answer.
Don't choke him. Wait until he gets off of work and beat his ass while wearing a mask! It's only a crime if witnesses can ID you! LOL!
LOL - nope, I just close my office door and turn my i-home up!
all i can suggest is find someone else who can't stand the bastard and talk about him like a dog!
Captain - How do you propose I get even? Stick a banana in his exhaust pipe?
Kyon - Not a mask though...lol. I want that fool to know who did this to him.
Darius - I don't have that luxury. I'm apart of the cubical nation. :-(
YABG - I tried that. Well, not to talk about him like a dog, but I've talked to another co-worker about him. Not in a bashing way, but in a 'do you notice this too?' way.

I am so glad that I don't have to work with the same people each and every day. There are a few that I would slap off the side of a building.
But when I did have to do so and ran into someone like ole dude, I would get their asses together in staff meeting. I loved doing that!
Have you read "Don't Sweat The Small Stuff At Work"?
For a self-help book, it's very informative on the "coworker types"

It's no fun if you don't say anything.
